It happens to the best of us. We sell a product for a while and then we stop; maybe we came up with something better or it’s just no longer relevant. It’s been years (or maybe only months) since you even thought about it. And then whammo! Someone orders it! What? How’d they do that? We took the page down. Unfortunately, once something is on the internet, it’s there forever and ever.

Anyway, here’s something you can do to avoid having someone place an order for something that is no longer available…
You want to first make the product inactive in Infusionsoft. Note: Don’t delete! It could mess up any sales reports you look at.
But you should also delete the order form. If you’re using legacy order forms, making the product inactive will cause the legacy order form to not work.
However, if you’re using the “new” order forms, making the product inactive does not deactivate the order form. You absolutely will want to delete the order form!
