Today’s Infusionsoft Tips and Tricks is a pet peeve of mine. It’s using “Submit” on your opt-in forms! Submit sounds so – well, bossy. Not only is it a pet peeve, but you get lower conversion rates when you use the word “Submit” on your button anyway.
Instead of using submit, use friendlier benefit statements like “Get Instant Access!”, “Register Now”, or “Get the Free Report”.
You also want to make sure your button stands out. You can do this by changing the color and the size.
The key is to test the button text and the button color, but test one thing at a time. Experiment with the text first and see which one gets the better result and then test the color.
If you have a web person, he or she can use the html code and make these changes for you.
However, you can also make the changes in Infusionsoft. In today’s video I’ll show you how to access the advanced styling for the submit button. Have fun!
