You can use your quick search (upper right-hand corner) for more than just searching by first name or first name and last name. You can also search by email address or phone numbers or a combination.
If you have the @ symbol in the search box, then Infusionsoft knows to search for email addresses. If there’s a number in the box, it will search for all phone numbers that contain that series of numbers. If you put in 226 it will search for all phone numbers that contain 226 – not just starts with.
But that’s not all; you can use an asterisk as a wildcard. Let’s say you want to search for anybody who has a Gmail address, you would use: *@gmail.com. Additionally, you could use this if you want to search for everybody in the same company (assuming they’re using the company’s email address) by saying *@companyurl.com.
You can also search for a string of data. So let’s say you want to search for John Smith who has a gmail address and lives in Atlanta (area code 404). You could do: Jo Sm *@gmail.com 404. This will bring up everybody whose first name starts with Jo and last name starts with Sm who has a gmail address and has 404 in their phone number. Um, yeah, not really sure why you’d want to do all that, but you could!
